But a friend has gotten some great recognition.
My friend Nathaniel's wife Kerry is an artist of no mean stature. It turns out one of her paintings (titled "On the Shore") was used as a backdrop for an appearance in South Carolina by Michelle Obama.
I just find that infinitely cool.
