Ending an incredible winning season with a record of 33-1, the QND girls basketball team on Saturday down Breese Central 62-31 to win the Illinois Class 2A State Championship.
I had the privilege of producing most of their games in the post-season for broadcast on WTAD AM 930. Thank you, and congratulations to you all for great play and sportsmanship of the highest caliber.
That's two state titles in a row for the QND girls, and it looks like they have a good chance of doing it again next year with many of the teams' members returning.
How cool will that be?
